Versatile programming for trimming and routing even for complex geometries

Trimming and routing applications are heavily used when composite parts or plastic parts are concerned, no matter if aerospace, automotive, consumer goods or others. FASTSUITE Edition 2 simplifies the definition, simulation and optimization of trimming and routing applications on both, robot-based systems and special machines. The software is also very open and flexible to easily integrate and customize process-specific applications. This leads to perfect support for any trimming and routing technology, such as milling, ultrasonic cutting, waterjet cutting, plasma cutting and many more. For achieving a perfect cutting result, the toolpath algorithms can use support surfaces or flank faces of the part to control the tool orientation, including special rules when the tangent orientation of the tool has to be considered.
